Yoon Do Hyeon verbally abused [?], "When I kiss my daughter I put my tongue in" [!!!] Singer Yoon Do Hyeon became embroiled in criticism after describing the way he shows affection to his 3-year-old daughter.

With my new one hour commute to work I have been blessed with an opportunity. Every work day for two hours I have the privilege, neh, the blessing of listening to right winged conservative radio. Being someone from a more left side of the house, this continues to baffle me to the point of aggravation every day. You may say, why would you put yourself through that? Well, to be honest I don’t like the idea of group think and don’t necessarily try to affiliate myself with any one ‘side.’ I mean what am I? A Nazi?

China finally admits to fate of US POW from the Korean War.
After the war, the lack of full accountings of a large number of soldiers, as well as dodgy POW management in North Korea, left many Americans convinced that there may still have been secret POW camps hidden in Manchuria.
This has nothing specifically to do with the Korean mad-cow protests. I just thought it was funny.
In 1997 there were some cases of variant Crutzfeld-Jakob Disease in Kentucky. After studying the cases, researchers noted the one significant thing all the patients had in common was that they ate squirrel brains, considered a local delicacy.
Since I'm beginning to reach for a career as an academic (otherwise known as a life of poverty) while dating a girl who is soon to be a dentist (making dentist money), I get a lot of joking comments pointing out the projected income disparity. The other day, I learned a new Konglish word, 셔터멘 [shutter-man].
The "shutter-man" is the husband of a career woman who runs her own office/clinic/shop. He is so called because he comes in every morning and opens the security shutters of the office, and closes it every night. Essentially, a man whose job is supporting his wife's career.
I was searching for Scopitone videos and I ran across this clip of Japanese go-go dancers from 1967.
Of course, the champion belt goes to anyone who can dig up a Korean Scopitone.
For anyone who happens to be a resident of the Western US and is considering higher education: take a look at WICHE and WUE. A very complicated system run by public universities where certain out-of-state students can, under certain circumstances, qualify for reduced tuition rates.
My cousin took advantage of this to attend the University of Idaho, and I'm fortunately eligible at University of Hawai'i as a graduate student in Asia studies.
